The Rams Rack is a student-created thrift space at Gorham Middle School where students can pick out clothing and other items for free, no questions asked.

It was founded by two Team Katahdin students, who saw a need at our school and worked to turn their idea into a real program, from the first concept to opening day.

The Rams Rack is for need and want. There's no stigma here: thrifting is smart, sustainable, and cool. It cuts down on waste, saves money, and strengthens our whole community, and those benefits belong to everyone. Students are encouraged to sign up and visit, especially with a friend!

 

How you can help
If you have a student at GMS, spread the word! The more students who know about the Rams Rack, the more good it can do. Donations of gently used clothing items help keep the racks full, and parent volunteers help keep everything running smoothly.
